I had no idea what I was doing. I did it anyway.
Hey, I’m Ezra Bassey. And if you’ve ever Googled “how to make money online” at 2 am and ended up more confused than when you started — I get it. That was me.
Back in 2017, a classmate mentioned something called blogging. I had never heard of it. But something about it clicked for me immediately — the idea that you could build something on the internet and actually earn from it. So I did what most people do: I jumped in with zero experience, zero strategy, and way too much confidence.
I wrote articles that nobody read. I had no clue about keyword research, SEO, or what it even meant to build an audience. I applied for Google AdSense and got rejected. Then rejected again. Most people would’ve quit. I just kept going — tweaking, learning, failing forward — until one day it finally worked.

Over time, the picture got clearer. Blogging was just the entry point. I went deeper — affiliate marketing, content strategy, SEO, funnels. I started seeing how all the pieces fit together. And the more I learned, the more I realized how much time I had wasted early on because nobody broke it down simply.
I took a detour to finish school and hold down a steady paycheck for a while. But by 2022, I was back — and I was serious. I started freelancing in web design and content strategy, working with real businesses to build their online presence from scratch. Those client projects taught me things my own blog never could. I saw the same patterns everywhere: smart, motivated people spinning their wheels because the information out there is either too vague, too technical, or trying to sell you something.
